Thank your for stopping by our new web site for 2005. Please feel free to stroll  around. This year we are offering many of the events we have offered in the past, along with a greater focus on you our guests.  Our cabins are clean and ready for you and our fishing tournaments that many people have enjoyed are scheduled once again for this coming year.  As always, our dining room and bar  are ready for you to greet old friends and to swap stories with our guests.  The  links on the right will take you to the information about our cabins, rates, guides and events. Barker Lake and the surrounding waters are some of the most  underrated waters in Wisconsin, each having fine smallmouth, walleye, musky,  northern, largemouth and even catfish. This is just one of the sites waiting for you at Barker Lake in northwest Wisconsin. Cool summer nights, some peace-and-quiet, days of fishing or canoeing on our rivers or hunting on the national forest lands are just a few of the activities you will find here in the area.   The area also has the reintroduced Wisconsin elk herd  that migrate through the area during the late spring and fall.  The wildlife is abundant, including bald eagles, hawks, bear and whitetail deer.  We also have a golf course across the lake for a casual day of golfing.
